Overview
Run by the Ecole Normale Supérieure - PSL and co-accredited with the Ecole des Hautes Etudes en Sciences Sociales (EHESS), the master's degree in cognitive science offers an interdisciplinary education, and is open to all students, whether they have previously studied in the sciences or the humanities.
Entirely taught in English, courses cover all areas of cognitive science (cognitive neuroscience, neuroimaging, computational cognitive science, artificial intelligence, experimental cognitive psychology, psychophysics, philosophy of mind, analytical philosophy, quantitative social science, evolutionary psychology, linguistics, psycholinguistics, etc.) as well as its major applications (education and cognition, behavioral public policy, cognitive engineering, etc.).
Upon graduation, students go on to pursue doctoral studies at academic institutions in France and around the world, or to pursue professional careers in government or the private sector in applied cognitive science.
