What you’ll study

In the Graduate Certificate in Biomedical Science (Infection and Immunity) you’ll study 24 credit points of subjects, including two 6 credit point core units in Clinical Laboratory Science and Principles in Immunology.

You will also complete 12 credit points of stream selective units spanning Virology, Bacteriology, Clinical Immunology and Immunotherapy.

Admission to the course requires:

  • a bachelors degree or higher award in science, medical or veterinary science, biomedical science, health science or a health-related discipline from the University of Sydney, or 
  • qualifications deemed by the Faculty to be equivalent.

For qualifications awarded outside Australia, equivalencies and entry requirements are determined based on the country, institution, and qualification.
