About this course
Our Graduate Certificate in Cancer and Haematology Nursing aims to assist nurses who care for people affected by cancer and haematological illness to develop their knowledge and skills for their care. Students will investigate the biology of cancer and haematology and associated treatments.

Our Graduate Certificate in Cancer and Haematology Nursing is designed for registered nurses working in the cancer and haematology field to further develop knowledge and critical thinking skills.

What you’ll study
As part of our Graduate Certificate in Cancer and Haematology Nursing, you will complete:
- 24 credit points of core units of study, which include three specialty-specific units for the cancer and haematology courses.

Admission to this course requires:
- hold a pre-registration nursing degree from the University of Sydney or equivalent qualification; or
- a minimum of five years experience as a registered nurse
In addition you are required to:
- be a registered nurse in Australia
- have a minimum of one year's experience as a registered nurse
- be working in cancer and haematology
International qualifications
For qualifications awarded outside Australia, equivalencies and entry requirements are determined based on the country, institution, and qualification.
A minimum result of 7.0 overall and a minimum result of 7.0 in each band
A minimum result of 96 overall including a minimum result of 23 in Reading, Listening and Speaking and 25 in Writing
A minimum result of 68 overall and a minimum result of 68 in each band
