About this course
Build on your technical expertise by developing skills in communicating ideas clearly to athletes, organising training sessions for maximum impact, giving and receiving feedback, using technology as a coaching tool, planning training programs, and remaining up to date with coaching trends.

If you are an elite-level coach or an experienced elite athlete looking for a competitive edge, this course has been designed with you in mind.
Structure
What you’ll study
You will complete a total of 24 credit points, including: a minimum of 18 credit points of core units. The balance consists of elective units.

Admissions
Admission to candidature requires:
- a bachelor's degree from the University of Sydney or equivalent qualification and either the completion of relevant postgraduate studies or a minimum of two yearscoaching/sporting experience at an elite level; or
- Level 2 National Coaching Accreditation Scheme accreditation or equivalent and either the completion of relevant postgraduate studies or a minimum of four yearscoaching/sporting experience at an elite level.
Subject to meeting progression requirements in the graduate certificate, you may apply to transfer to the Graduate Diploma in Educational Studies or the Master of Education.
A minimum result of 6.5 overall and a minimum result of 6.0 in each band
A minimum result of 85 overall including a minimum result of 17 in Reading, Listening and Speaking and 19 in Writing
A minimum result of 61 overall and a minimum result of 54 in each band
