A compact yet vibrant program that offers you the opportunity to explore pressing social justice issues through a flexible course of study, wherein you take classes alongside peers studying in other associated fields including human rights, peace and conflict and development studies.
Who is it for?

What you’ll study
Candidates in the Graduate Certificate in Social Justice are required to complete:
- 2 units (12 credit points) of core units of study;
- 2 units (12 credit points) from elective units of study.

Admissions
Admission to candidature for the Graduate Certificate in Social Justice requires:
- a bachelor's degree from the University of Sydney, with a major in the humanities or social sciences, or an equivalent qualification: or
- relevant, recent professional qualifications and experience may be assessed as suitable for admission by delegated Authority under the provision for exceptional circumstances outlined in Clause 2(5)(1)(b) and (c) of the Coursework Rule.
International qualifications
For qualifications awarded outside Australia, equivalencies and entry requirements are determined based on the country, institution, and qualification.
A minimum result of 6.5 overall and a minimum result of 6.0 in each band
A minimum result of 85 overall including a minimum result of 17 in Reading, Listening and Speaking and 19 in Writing
A minimum result of 61 overall and a minimum result of 54 in each band
