Structure
What you’ll study
The Graduate Diploma in Computer Science offers foundational and specialist computer science units of study. You can also study computing professional units, which are required subjects in the Master of Computer Science if you choose to undertake further study.

Admissions
To be eligible for admission, an applicant is required to have:
- An Australian bachelor’s degree or higher award in a cognate discipline for an equivalent qualification, with a minimum 60 percent average, or
- Completion of the requirements of the embedded graduate certificate in this discipline or an equivalent qualificationsdeemed by the faculty to be equivalent qualification with a minimum 60 percent average.
International qualifications
For qualifications awarded outside Australia, equivalencies and entry requirements are determined based on the country, institution, and qualification.
A minimum result of 6.5 overall and a minimum result of 6.0 in each band
A minimum result of 85 overall including a minimum result of 17 in Reading, Listening and Speaking and 19 in Writing
A minimum result of 61 overall and a minimum result of 54 in each band
