About this course
Improve your understanding of educational psychology with this specialisation allowing you to focus on the educational psychology of human learning, thinking, motivation and development and applying this knowledge in educational contexts.

What you’ll study
You will complete 6 units of study (36 credit points), including
- 4 units of study (24 credit points) of core units; and
- a minimum of 1 unit of study (6 credit points) of elective units; plus
- a maximum of 1 unit of study (6 credit points) of postgraduate Education units which can be chosen from any designation within the Master of Education program.

Admissions
Admission to candidature requires:
- a Bachelor of Education from the University of Sydney or equivalent qualification and either the completion of postgraduate studies, or professional experience equivalent to one year full-time in a field considered by the Faculty to be appropriate to the program of study; or
- a bachelor's degree and either the Graduate Diploma in Education or Bachelor of Teaching or Master of Teaching from the University of Sydney or equivalent qualification; or
- a bachelor's degree from the University of Sydney or equivalent qualification and either the completion of postgraduate studies in Education, or professional experience equivalent to two years full-time in a field considered by the Faculty to be appropriate to the program of study.
International qualifications
For qualifications awarded outside Australia, equivalencies and entry requirements are determined based on the country, institution, and qualification.
A minimum result of 6.5 overall and a minimum result of 6.0 in each band
A minimum result of 85 overall including a minimum result of 17 in Reading, Listening and Speaking and 19 in Writing
A minimum result of 61 overall and a minimum result of 54 in each band
