About this course
This course will equip you with the technical skills required to manage complex projects. Complementing your on-the-job training and providing you with the fundamental methodologies, modelling and analytical skills for the design and implementation of projects across a wide range of fields.
Who is it for?
This course is ideal for anyone looking to gain a solid grounding in project management with a shorter period of study than the master's program, or for anyone looking to transition to the Master of Project Management.
Structure
What you’ll study
You will learn methodologies and analytical techniques required for the design and implementation of projects.
You will complete:
- 4 x core units
- 2-4 x project management core competency units, and
- a maximum of 2 x project management graduate diploma electives

Admissions
To be eligible for admission, an applicant is required to have:
- an Australian bachelor's degree in any discipline with a minimum 60 percent or
- a University of Sydney Graduate Certificate in Project Management with a minimum 60 percent.
International qualifications
For qualifications awarded outside Australia, equivalencies and entry requirements are determined based on the country, institution, and qualification.
A minimum result of 6.5 overall and a minimum result of 6.0 in each band
A minimum result of 85 overall including a minimum result of 17 in Reading, Listening and Speaking and 19 in Writing
A minimum result of 61 overall and a minimum result of 54 in each band
