About this course
The Graduate Diploma in Science in Medicine (Sleep Medicine) aims to provide students with comprehensive information on the theory and practice of sleep medicine and provide training in clinical, theoretical and research techniques in the discipline.

What you’ll study
The Graduate Diploma in Science in Medicine (Sleep Medicine) is made up of 36 credit points and you will undertake four core units of study.
This course is offered through our interactive online learning environment, giving you the flexibility to tailor your study schedule around your lifestyle. If you wish to get some on-campus experience, some elective units are offered face-to-face, but these can be avoided depending on your preferences.

Admissions
Admission to the course requires:
- successful completion of the embedded Graduate Certificate in Science in Medicine; or
- a bachelor or postgraduate degree in a health or science-related discipline from the University of Sydney or equivalent qualification and
- minimum 12 months of relevant work experience.
International qualifications
For qualifications awarded outside Australia, equivalencies and entry requirements are determined based on the country, institution, and qualification.
A minimum result of 7.0 overall and a minimum result of 6.5 in each band
A minimum result of 96 overall including a minimum result of 20 in Reading, Listening and Speaking and 22 in Writing
A minimum result of 68 overall and a minimum result of 61 in each band
