An evidence-based education on the design, service provision and operation of buildings in a sustainable manner with audio design. You will be equipped with the professional skills to ensure maximum efficiencies, optimal comfort and ideal health outcomes for corporate and residential environments.

Structure
What you’ll study
Primary stream: High performance buildings
The High Performance Buildings stream integrates the various components of the built environment, namely Architectural and Building Services (design and operations), passive and active Sustainability, strategic and operational Facility Management and Property Economics (highlighting return on investment principles). You will have the opportunity to not only learn but also actively participate in research as part of your studies.
Secondary Stream: Audio and Acoustics
The program offers a balance of studio-based production subjects and theoretical and investigative subjects in acoustics and technical audio. Throughout the program, you will combine aesthetic sound design, new media, sound recording and system design with acoustic engineering, computer modelling and psychology.

Admissions
Admission to the Master of Architectural Science requires:
- a bachelor's degree from the University of Sydney or an equivalent qualification; or
- completion of the requirements of the embedded graduate diploma; or
- completion of the requirement of the graduate certificate with an average mark of at least 70 across all the units attempted for the award.
International qualifications
For qualifications awarded outside Australia, equivalencies and entry requirements are determined based on the country, institution, and qualification.
A minimum result of 6.5 overall and a minimum result of 6.0 in each band
A minimum result of 85 overall including a minimum result of 17 in Reading, Listening and Speaking and 19 in Writing
A minimum result of 61 overall and a minimum result of 54 in each band
