About this course
This course builds on the knowledge you've gained during our Master of Medicine (Sexual and Reproductive Health), allowing high-achieving students to plan and carry out a supervised research project.

This course is for current Master of Medicine (Sexual and Reproductive Health) students.
Structure
What you’ll study
Our Master of Medicine (Advanced) (Sexual and Reproductive Health) requires the completion of 60 credit points of units of study including:
- 48 credit points which are credited based on the successful completion of the Master of Medicine (Sexual and Reproductive Health); and
- 12 credit points of project units of study.
Students complete a research project in an area of specific interest relevant to their Masters degree. Students will be guided through the steps required to plan and execute a substantial research project, and prepare a scholarly work which may be a paper for publication.

Admissions
Admission to the Master of Medicine (Advanced) (Sexual and Reproductive health) requires:
- completion of the requirements for the Master of Medicine (Sexual and Reproductive Health)
- an average mark of at least 75% in 24 credit points of compulsory and/or stream units of study
- any other requirements as stated by the Faculty at the time of application.
International qualifications
For qualifications awarded outside Australia, equivalencies and entry requirements are determined based on the country, institution, and qualification.
A minimum result of 7.0 overall and a minimum result of 6.5 in each band
A minimum result of 96 overall including a minimum result of 20 in Reading, Listening and Speaking and 22 in Writing
A minimum result of 68 overall and a minimum result of 61 in each band
