About this course
Our Master of Medicine (Clinical Epidemiology) is a fully online degree with optional face-to-face components for clinicians and clinical researchers. You will learn the skills needed to generate high quality clinical research and interpret research evidence to improve patient care outcomes.

What you’ll study
Our Master of Medicine (Clinical Epidemiology) is a postgraduate coursework degree that will give you the skills to find, interpret and evaluate research evidence to improve patient care outcomes and the skills needed to generate high-quality clinical research.
It is compulsory to complete two core units in introductory clinical epidemiology and biostatistics and a capstone unit, but you are free to choose 5 elective units that suit your personal interest.
Graduates from this program may be eligible to apply for CPD/CME points with the medical colleges in which they are completing their training.

Admissions
Admission to the course requires:
- a medical degree from the University of Sydney or an equivalent qualification.
International qualifications
For qualifications awarded outside Australia, equivalencies and entry requirements are determined based on the country, institution, and qualification.
A minimum result of 6.5 overall and a minimum result of 6.0 in each band
A minimum result of 85 overall including a minimum result of 17 in Reading, Listening and Speaking and 19 in Writing
A minimum result of 61 overall and a minimum result of 54 in each band
