You will also study human biology, pharmacology, research and evidence-based practice, social contexts of health and illness, healthcare systems and more.

Structure
What you’ll study
Our Master of Nursing is a graduate entry coursework degree that will prepare you for professional practice as a registered nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia. The course is accredited by the Australian Nursing and Midwifery Accreditation Council and will provide you with the highest quality person-centred care, preparing you for work in local, national and international healthcare settings.
You will complete a prescribed course of study focusing on the health system, nursing practice and its contexts, care across the lifespan and include specific clinical areas such as mental health nursing, community health nursing and acute care nursing. You will also complete a minimum of 860 hours of professional experience in private and public hospitals, mental health services, community health centres and schools.

You must have:
- a previous Australian level bachelor degree (or equivalent) in any discipline other than nursing, AND
- this qualification has been completed within 10 years prior to applying
Overseas nursing qualifications are acceptable.
International qualifications
For qualifications awarded outside Australia, equivalencies and entry requirements are determined based on the country, institution, and qualification.
A minimum result of 7.0 overall and a minimum result of 7.0 in each band
A minimum result of 96 overall including a minimum result of 24 in Reading and Listening, 27 in Writing and 23 in Speaking
A minimum result of 68 overall and a minimum result of 68 in each band
