Structure
What you’ll study
The Master of Teaching (Primary) is a postgraduate coursework degree that will provide a good understanding of the policy frameworks that shape teaching in Australia and internationally, and issues in teaching, learning and curriculum management. You will complete core units in education and curriculum in addition to professional units of study. You will also complete practicum placements and a final capstone project comprising an internship in a primary education setting.

Admission to candidature requires:
- a bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline from the University of Sydney or equivalent qualification; and
- completion of the curriculum area specialisation requirements specified by the Faculty; and
- completion of any additional qualifying courses prescribed by the Faculty.
International qualifications
For qualifications awarded outside Australia, equivalencies and entry requirements are determined based on the country, institution, and qualification.
A minimum result of 7.5 overall including a minimum result of 7.0 in Reading and Writing and 8.0 in Listening and Speaking
A minimum result of 105 overall including a minimum result of 23 in Reading and 25 in Writing and 27 in Listening and Speaking
A minimum result of 76 overall including a minimum result of 68 in Reading and Writing and 79 in Listening and Speaking
